How long have you been on DeviantART? Three years, probably nearing four.
What does your username mean? Well, singing is my #1 passion, wolves are my favourite animal (even better, they sound like they're singing when they howl, so that's a nice connection), and twelve is one of my favourite numbers. Nothing all that special and super-thought-out.
Describe yourself in three words. More to me.
Are you left or right handed? Got the dominant trait on that one - right-handed. I'm trying to work towards being ambidextrous, though. It'd be mighty useful, even if I don't draw very much.
What was your first deviation? Sadly, my first submission wasn't truly my own, as I wrote in the description. I simply found an excellent - and extremely nerdy - poem on-line one day and wanted to share it ("Charmanders are Red"). My first deviation was an assignment for school in 8th grade: a Dr. Suess-style (attempted, at least) childrens' story titled Queen Quack and the Bird Wingdom. I was proud at the time, but looking back it's rather weak.
What is your favourite type of art to create? Photography, for sure. Particularly scenery and flower close-ups.
If you could instantly master a different art style, what would it be? People pictures! I have all sorts of ideas in my head, but I hate having to make both myself and the subject happy. Eventually I'm going to try self-portraits with my ideas, but we'll see how that goes.
What was your first favourite? "Facing the Suess,"* apparently, by ThinkerGirl96 .
What type of art do you tend to favourite the most? It's not really what I tend to favourite the most, but what tends to come up on the front page. I normally have it set to What's Hot, so it's mostly digital art. I love all kinds.
Who is your all-time favourite deviant artist? You really expect me to pick that??? ...hmmm...it more depends on the mood I'm in.....
If you could meet anyone on DeviantART in person, who would it be? Probably Xanatos-Leo - he just seems so kind and real. I don't think I can remember him not replying to a comment (which I totally get, as the really popular accounts have so many they can't reply to them all - it's just nice knowing they actually read it and it's actually meaningful). I'd just like to give him a big ol' hug. (:
How has a fellow deviant impacted your life? Those who've critiqued my work have helped me improve (I hope lol), those who comment and favourite my work have encouraged me greatly, and those who just chat with me make me feel like I'm maybe not being creepy on the internet. XD
What are your preferred tools to create art? Any sort of camera, but especially my Nikon (my first and so far only nice camera that we can afford).
What is the most inspirational place for you to create art? Anywhere you can find the beauty in nature. Also, the shower and my bed when I'm trying to sleep. :/
What is your favourite DeviantArt memory? Knowing I made somebody happy for their work (you may or may not know who you are, but I don't really want to go into details and risk making it awkward).
Facing the SeussThe same old story.
Day after day.
All time for work
No time for play.
And it happened to be
One working night
That my cousins pulled out
A book, to my delight.
"Read us a story!"
They begged and they pleaded
Till I finally gave in
And did what was needed.
It was an old classic
A favorite of mine
Not like the boring books
No, this was something different
Nothing totally knew
But a break from the norm
(Something we all want to do)
The author was Seuss
And the story divine
It left me much pining
For a childhood of mine.
Now every time I see them
I read to them with delight
The books that I grew up with
That brought me so much light.
But after some time
It occurred to my brain
That something wasn't right
With my thought train.
And after a while
a while after that
When I woke up the next morning
I saw a hat.
Immediately I felt him.
His presence in the room
He wouldn't have left it alone.
To face certain doom.
Why he'd come?
I hadn't a clue.
But he was now here
